Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate framing options
- Measure, cut, and assemble frames
- Stretch canvas and mount artwork
- Cut glass and backing boards
- Operate framing equipment and tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
Experience:
- Previous experience in art framing or related field preferred
- Knowledge of different framing techniques and materials
- Familiarity with various types of artwork and framing styles
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving skills

Summary
As a Picture Framer/Sales Assistant, you will be integral to our team, combining your craftsmanship with customer service excellence. Reporting to the Store Manager, your core skills in hand tools, carpentry, and joinery will be essential for creating high-quality frames. Your ability to handle heavy lifting will support the efficient management of materials and products. Additionally, your premium skills in fabrication and assembly will enhance our service offerings. We expect you to engage with customers, providing tailored solutions that meet their framing needs while maintaining a welcoming store environment.
