Overview
This is a full-time on-site role for an experienced mid-level* Environmental Geologist at Cornwall Mining Consultants in Camborne. You will be responsible for liaising with clients; researching, designing and conducting field work, environmental consulting, soil analysis, and contaminated land assessments on a regular basis. You will also be trained in mining subsidence research and assessment and on-site mining hazard investigation.
Duties
- Conduct contaminated land surveys and field investigations
- Analyse geological and soil data using software such as QGIS, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD
- Liaise with and advise professional and public clients
- Apply recognised phased approach using the CLEA model
- Collaborate with team members on research projects
- Produce accurate high quality professional reports
- Maintain accurate records of findings and observations
