How the role fits within the wider business
Role Summary:
This is an exciting time for the Cobalt Digital and Transformation team. Significant investment is planned in infrastructure, systems and new staffing resource and you will be part of a dynamic, innovative team with wide-ranging responsibilities to deliver digital and transformational change across the whole organisation.
The Digital Support Officer role will be first point of contact for the Digital Help Desk, responsible for resolving problems quickly and effectively. The role requires an individual who is pro-active and enthusiastic, and able to work as part of a team to deliver an excellent service for our colleagues. You will also help train new members of staff on some basic uses of our systems and applications, as well as providing the new hardware colleagues need to complete their role effectively.
This is a development role so you will be working closely with Digital colleagues across Applications, Project Management, Infrastructure, Networking and Cyber Security and Data, as well as with colleagues in the Transformation team to understand ways we can improve our service provision to colleagues and the wider organisation. The role will be provided with a wide range of learning and training opportunities so that you are able to build your skills and expertise rapidly.
The post holder will work with individuals and teams across the organisation in delivery of the Digital Support function.

Cobalt Housing has a 35 hour standard working week Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00, and we are currently in the middle of looking at a more hybrid and flexible way of working, as we realise that work/life balance has never been so important.
