Infant Educarer (Islandwide) - WC2

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes knowledge of child development to support and promote the learning and holistic growth of infants and toddlers.
• Leads the planning and implementation of a child-centered, intentional program based on a cyclical process of observation, documentation, and evaluation to address children’s learning needs and interests, in line with the Early Years Development Framework (EYDF).
• Builds and maintains strong partnerships with families, sharing information and insights on child development to ensure continuity of learning between the center and home.
• Adheres to government regulations and quality assurance frameworks..

Requirements:

• Has Certificate in Infant and Toddler Care and Development (CIT) / Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) / Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)
• Has registered with ECDA and attained the EY1/ EY2 certification
