Accounts Executive (Japan MNC/ West)

Job Summary

This role is tasked with handling and supporting daily accounting and finance activities, such as managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, tax filings, and bank reconciliations. This position focuses on maintaining precision and effectiveness in financial operations, generating required reports, and aiding in forecasting and budgeting processes.

The role also involves working closely with the team and other departments to uphold financial accuracy and contribute to achieving the company's business goals.

Job Responsibilitie

• Carry out daily accounting and finance tasks, including managing receivables and payables, general ledger entries, tax filings, and bank reconciliations (on a rotational basis).
• Oversee CAPEX and Fixed Assets processes.
• Ensure timely month-end closing and reconciliations, including intercompany transactions.
• Handle monthly journal entries, audit schedules, and lease-related matters.
• Prepare and submit assigned reports promptly.
• Complete quarterly GST reporting (on a rotational basis).
• Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, corporate policies, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, such as financial institutions, external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, government authorities, vendors, and other relevant parties as needed.
• Assist in annual audits, tax filings (corporate and withholding), and any ad-hoc tasks as required.
• Support system implementations and process improvement initiatives.
• Analyze accounts and perform reconciliations.
• Contribute to forecasting and budgeting activities in line with corporate guidelines.
