Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Global Director – Expert Services (Consultant) to join our Singapore office. This leadership role is pivotal to expanding our footprint across Singapore, Southeast Asia, and beyond.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in claims consultancy, expert services such as expert evaluation, expert advice, expert witness, and expert determination services along with a proven ability to develop client relationships, drive business growth, and deliver high-value consulting services in dispute resolution, and litigation support.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Growth
- Identify new business opportunities and target potential clients within the Oil & Gas, engineering and construction sectors.
- Generate qualified leads, build a strong project pipeline, and convert opportunities into successful project wins.
- Develop relationships with international law firms focusing on Singapore and the South East Asian market followed by the expansion to other global markets
- Deepen and manage relationships with existing clients; ensure proactive engagement across all project phases.
- Lead initiatives to expand sales channels and explore cross-selling opportunities across Masin’s service lines.
Advisory & Consulting Services
- Provide high-level consultancy on project management and construction claims.
- Act as expert consultant in matters involving delay analysis, forensic assessments, and contractual disputes.
- Handle Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation and produce compelling, tailored proposals.
Strategic Leadership
- Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to shape and deliver business strategies.
- Collaborate with global teams to align local strategies with international market opportunities.
Client Engagement
- Conduct client meetings, deliver presentations, and represent Masin at industry events.
- Liaise with client stakeholders to perform performance reviews and collect lessons learned post-project.
Market Expansion
- Establish and grow relationships with international law firms and other key stakeholders in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
- Drive expansion efforts into new global markets following the success of regional growth.
Required Experience & Skills
- 7 years of experience in project management, consulting, or related expert services.
- Strong commercial acumen and a track record in business development and client acquisition.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex consulting assignments across jurisdictions.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust with senior clients.
- Prior experience working with or advising international law firms is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of construction law, arbitration, and dispute resolution is preferred.
