The Country Manager will be responsible for the overall performance, growth, and compliance of the company's operations in Dubai. You will drive strategic initiatives, grow our customer base, manage regulatory relationships, and ensure the highest standards of operational excellence in a dynamic and competitive trading environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Leadership: Develop and execute the market entry and growth strategy tailored to the region, in alignment with the company’s global objectives.
Business Development: Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships, affiliates, and institutional relationships to drive revenue growth.
P&L Ownership: Take full ownership of the country’s Profit & Loss statement, ensuring profitability and sustainable business growth.
Regulatory Compliance: Serve as the primary point of contact with local regulators. Ensure that all operations comply with local laws, licensing requirements, and financial regulations.
Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing local team, including sales, marketing, compliance, and support. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
Client Acquisition & Retention: Lead local marketing strategies, oversee client onboarding processes, and ensure world-class customer service.
Brand & Reputation Management: Represent the company at industry events, in the media, and with local stakeholders to build brand credibility and visibility.
Product Localization: Work closely with the product and technology teams to adapt the platform and offerings to meet local user needs and preferences.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a leadership role within the financial services, CFD/Forex trading, or online brokerage industry.
In-depth knowledge of CFD products, trading platforms (e.g., MetaTrader 4/5), and the regulatory environment.
Strong understanding of the local financial market and competitive landscape.
Demonstrated success in building and scaling a business or business unit.
Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and operational management skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, both in English and the local language (if applicable).
Regulatory or licensing experience with local financial authorities is a strong advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
