Position Overview

This is a WSG Career trial position, which allows the candidate to evaluate the company and vice versa.

We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee and coordinate short term projects as part of our longer term initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Town Council maintenance and construction industry experience, strong customer management skills, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while adhering to Singapore's building regulations and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring alignment with BCA (Building & Construction Authority) requirements and client specifications
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and authorities (BCA, URA, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution
• Manage client relationships and expectations throughout the project lifecycle
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally and efficiently
• Manage tender processes and contractor selection in compliance with Singapore procurement guidelines
• Monitor project costs and implement effective cost control measures
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with WSH (Workplace Safety and Health) regulations
• Lead and motivate project teams while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry in Singapore
• Proven track record in customer relationship management and handling client communications
• Strong knowledge of Singapore building codes, BCA regulations, and WSH requirements
• Demonstrated experience in managing construction projects within budget and timeline
• Experience in managing or providing services to Town Councils will be an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technology familiarity and able to handle presentations and spreadsheets with ease.
• Robotics experience will be an added advantage.
• Experience with BIM software and digital construction technologies
• Knowledge of green building standards (Green Mark)
• Experience in both public and private sector projects
• Understanding of operational processes for Town Council maintenance services.
• Comfortable with paperless, fully digitalised, auditable processes.
