OPERATIONS MANAGER

• Collect dirty garments from client changing room and distribute clean garments into their specific individual pigeon in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with the established company's policies and procedures.

• Operate washing machines, dryers, and pressing machines.

• Load and unload laundry from machines in a timely and efficient manner.

• Adjust machine settings based on fabric type and load size.

• Sort clothing, shoes, and other laundry items by color, fabric, and washing instructions

• Identify items that require special treatment or repair /sewing.

• Inspect laundry for stains, tears, or damage and report these to supervisors/clients.

• Apply appropriate stain removers or special washing techniques.

• Safely use detergents, bleaches, fabric softeners, and other chemicals.

• Follow all safety protocols for handling chemicals and machines.

• Ensure the laundry area is clean and organized at all times.

• Regularly clean and maintain laundry machines and related equipment.

• Fold and press laundered items neatly and according to company standards.

• Ensure linens and clothing are wrinkle-free and well-presented.

• Anticipating and responding to customers' queries, concerns, and complaints.

• Tracking which items belong to whom.

• Keeping an updated inventory of laundry detergents and sewing kits.

• Train and coach new laundry attendants.

• Assist with the efficient running of the laundry section as a Team Lead.

• Ensure lost and found items are properly documented and arrange for them to be returned to guest
