Sales Engineer (Valves)

We are seeking a driven and technically savvy Sales Engineer with experience in industrial valves to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who understands both engineering solutions and client needs — and enjoys turning technical know-how into sales success.

Your Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell industrial valves (e.g. control valves, ball valves, gate valves) to clients across industries like oil & gas, petrochemical, marine, and manufacturing.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to clients.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and product recommendations based on client requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Work closely with the engineering and operations teams to ensure smooth project handovers.
• Track and follow up on sales leads, tenders, and opportunities.
• Attend industry events and customer meetings to grow business pipelines.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in technical sales, preferably with industrial valves or similar products.
• Strong understanding of valve types, specifications, and applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a hunter mindset and strong customer focus.
• Able to travel locally or regionally when required.
