Bank Officer | Contract

Principal Responsibilities

• Manage multiple fund managers and be their point of contact in handling queries and requests.
• Perform daily, periodic and adhoc processing and related transfer agency ancillary activities.
• Ensure reporting to fund managers and distributors are completed timely as per defined service level agreement.
• Ensure that trade settlements are completed accurately according to dealing cycle including processing corporate action such as dividend distribution or other changes in fund structure.
• Ensure tight control on cash and units reconciliations and undertake timely investigation, escalation, and resolution.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly KPI and incident reporting.
• Ensuring timely update of the fund manager’s standard operating procedures
• Review of fund manager’s operating memorandum and prospectus against fund set-up templates and other related set up and creation
• Service oriented and client focused, initiative-taking and responsive approach to responsibilities
• Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit observations.
• Undertake and lead projects as assigned from time to time including user acceptance test.

Requirements

• University degree in finance or any related discipline.
• A minimum 3-5 years of experience with knowledge in transfer agency, fund services or related areas.
• Self-motivated with the ability to think, and act independently combined with an ability to work under pressure to meet tight timelines.
• Operational knowledge of banking products especially unit trusts
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player and should have the ability to motivate others.
