Animal Nutrition Assistant (Part-Time), Animal Care - Singapore Zoo/Bird Paradise

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for the food preparation and diet updates for all animals in WRS
• Responsible for the food delivery to different animal sections in WRS
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace and ensure food quality control
• Maintain inventory records of animal feeds and assist with receiving and storing food deliveries
• Assist in nutrition research from time to time
  
  

Job Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'O' levels and above
• Heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) is required
• Able to work on Saturdays/Sundays/Public Holidays
• Added advantage for applicants with a valid Class 3 driving license
