Develop basic operating standards for beverage service
Train, supervise and motivate all bar personnel and correct deviations whenever the need arises
Familiar in details with all the standard drink recipes, and drink serving procedures
Train and guide all beverage employees with the correct procedure of drink preparation in accordance with the standard recipes and serving procedure and see to it that they adhere to it without deviation.
Co-ordinate the beverage portion of any special activities, beverage promotion or private function
Responsible for the scheduling of the work load and working hours of all beverage personnel and ensure that the working schedules are properly rostered and posted in ample time
Responsible for the overall appearance, orderliness, cleanliness and the proper set up of all the bar related areas
Checks all glassware and ensure that chipped and cracked ones are not put into use
Strong wine knowledge to guide the team on wine pairings and service.
Ensure smooth service flow and optimize guest experience.
Support staff in handling guest requests and managing reservations.
Train staff on upselling and guest engagement.
Monitor service quality and maintain cleanliness across the floor.
Role Requirements
Knowledge of liquor laws and ensure that they are adhered to all times without fail
At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
Good drinks product knowledge in mixing, garnishing and serving
Service orientated
Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
