Utility Engineer (Viaduct)

• Reports to Construction Manager
• Ensure all relevant permits and clearances obtained from respective agencies prior any excavation works
• Ensure all resources provided (manpower/equipment) comply with stakeholder’s requirement
• Coordination and liaison works with relevant authorities / agencies on services /stakeholder for utilities and diversion works
• Facilitate Permit-to-dig application from Client / Stakeholders
• Attend the meeting with the stakeholder/client
• Generate and handle company reports, meetings and documents required
• Propose alternative work method or other way to increase productivity
• Provide advise on appropriate measures on services / utilities protection and adopt safe work procedure to prevent damage to utilities
• Ensure the activities comply with the quality, environment, health & safety requirements

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in road construction projects
• Possess basic understanding of Permit-to-Dig process and application
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
• Attained BCSS/Confined space
• Qualified as a Licensed Cable Detector Worker (LCDW), Licensed Telecommunication Cable Detection Worker (TCDW)
• Registered Earthwork Supervisor (RES) with EMA/SPPG
• Ability to perform task under pressure and multi-task
• Hardworking and willing to learn
• Good interpersonal skills
• Past experience in LTA project (NSC) is an added advanatge
