Title: Infrastructure Engineer - IT
We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer - IT with deep expertise in IBM Spectrum Protect (formerly TSM) to join our team. This is a hands-on technical role that involves implementing, supporting, and educating teams on enterprise backup solutions in a dynamic, 24/7 environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of IBM Spectrum Protect and comparable backup solutions.
Lead billable service engagements including installation and implementation of IBM Spectrum Protect.
Deliver technical training and mentor operations teams on Spectrum Protect solutions and storage management best practices.
Provide support for 24/7 shift operations, ensuring high availability and reliability of backup environments.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of proven technical experience with IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM).
IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Server on Windows & UNIX
Knowledge on TSM Server and Client Options
IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Database (Oracle, DB2, SQL etc)
IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Mail(Domino and Exchange)
IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Vmware
NDMP Backup using IBM Tivoli Storage Manager
