Job Summary:

As an Event Operations Executive at FirstCom Academy, you will play a key role in planning, executing, and supporting events that promote our courses, partnerships, and brand presence. You will be responsible for the smooth coordination of logistics, vendor management, and on-site support across a variety of roadshows, workshops, open houses, and marketing activations. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will ensure each event is executed efficiently, professionally, and aligned with our brand objectives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys hands-on work, and has a passion for delivering memorable and impactful event experiences.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute events from conception through to completion, including venue selection, logistics, budget management, and post-event evaluation.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including securing permits, coordinating vendors, managing guest lists, and overseeing event setup and breakdown.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events, including social media campaigns, email marketing, and print materials.
  • Manage event registration processes, including online registration platforms, ticket sales, and attendee communication.
  • Ensure smooth event operations on the day of the event, including managing staff and volunteers, overseeing crowd control, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of events and identify areas for improvement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with event stakeholders, including sponsors, vendors, speakers, and attendees.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in event management.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess at least "O" Level or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of experience in customer service, telemarketing or related role.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent command of written and spoken language
  • Proficient with MS Office
