Software Engineer - L2 Production Support (Shift Schedule)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality L2 support for Java and web-based applications in a production environment.
• Coordinate and support infrastructure maintenance tasks.
• Manage the implementation of new application releases, ensuring adherence to industry best practices in release management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Peer Application Teams, Infrastructure, Vendors, Security, and Change Management) to ensure smooth operations and minimal business disruption.
• Address production issues promptly, meeting agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Continuously improve support processes to enhance service levels and overall quality.
• Provide support across various shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays, as required.

Shift Timing:

• Morning shift: 6 AM to 3 PM
• General shift: 9 AM to 6 PM
• Afternoon shift: 2 PM to 11 PM
• Night shift: 10 PM to 7 AM

Transport Eligibility:

• Transport is claimable for:Before 7 AM (for morning shift 6 AM to 3 PM).
  After 11 PM (for afternoon shift 2 PM to 11 PM).

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an L2 application support role.
• Proficiency in Linux and Unix Shell scripting.
• Strong knowledge of SQL (MySQL/MSSQL).
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and debugging Java and web-based applications.
• Familiarity with OpenShift and Docker.
• Experience with application implementation projects in financial institutions is a plus.
