Patient Service Associate

Job Descriptions

• Manage patient admission and discharge procedures, including financial counselling, payment collection, monitoring bed request statuses, and ensuring accurate registration of patient information while maintaining data privacy and safety standards.
• Schedule internal and external patient appointments as directed by doctors.
• Ensure the operational readiness and adherence to service standards within the Urgent Care Centre (UCC).
• Provide basic financial counselling to patients and their next-of-kin upon request.
• Address inquiries from patients and their next-of-kin in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist doctors and nurses by providing chaperone support during consultations or procedures.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum qualification of GCE “O” Levels or its equivalent.
• Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance or equivalent field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications; experience with systems such as SAP is an added advantage.
• Strong team player with effective communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in a second language is beneficial.
• Capable of multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be adaptable and comfortable working in a hospital setting, including different clinic locations as required. Prior experience in the hospitality or service industries is advantageous.
• Work schedule: 5-day work week (including weekends and Public Holidays), based on a rotating 3-shift system (morning, afternoon, and midnight shifts).
• This is a 2-year contract position, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role based on performance.
