Position Overview
As a BI Analyst, you will be responsible for uncovering business insights through data analysis and reporting, contributing to the organization’s data-driven decision-making culture. With 5–7 years of experience, you are expected to work independently, apply analytical rigor, and collaborate cross-functionally to translate business questions into data insights.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into impactful dashboards, reports, and data insights.
Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, and key performance metrics.
Identify actionable insights that drive strategic and operational decisions.
Translate complex datasets into meaningful narratives and business recommendations.
Design and develop dashboards and self-service reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Work with data engineering teams to define data requirements and ensure data availability and integrity.
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to business and technical takeholders through reports, presentations, and visualizations.
Perform ad-hoc analysis to support product, operations, finance, and marketing initiatives.
Ensure data governance standards are met in reporting practices.
Monitor and improve the usability, performance, and accuracy of BI assets
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science & Analytics,
Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
5–7 years of experience in BI analysis, data analytics, or a similar role.
Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data.
Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent.
Familiarity with data modeling concepts and experience working with large datasets.
Strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to stakeholders.
