Lead, Cybersecurity Tools & Solutions (Up to $20,000 / Financial Systems)

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Cybersecurity Architect to lead a team in managing, optimising, and administering a wide range of security tools and solutions. This role involves supporting day-to-day cybersecurity operations, ensuring the implementation of robust security measures, and staying up to date with the latest industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Lead Cyber Defense Strategy: Formulate and enhance the organisation's cybersecurity strategy, managing a portfolio of security solutions to ensure robust threat exposure and vulnerability management.
• Build and Manage Cybersecurity Team: Recruit, train, and retain skilled cybersecurity specialists to operate and strengthen the organisation's security posture.
• Oversee Security Architecture and Implementation: Provide expertise for project security requirements, conduct risk assessments, and ensure seamless integration of security tools with existing systems, adhering to secure-by-design principles.
• Ensure Financial and Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with Finance to plan and monitor cybersecurity budgets, justify investments, and secure management approval for security policies by articulating costs and benefits.
• Advocate for Cybersecurity Initiatives: Represent the Cyber Defense unit in cross-functional and industry engagements to align and promote cybersecurity strategies.

Requirements:

• At least 12 years cybersecurity roles, with at least 6 years in leadership or managerial responsibilities.
• At least 6 years of experience in cybersecurity operations (On-Prem or AWS cloud).
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles, with hands-on experience in vulnerability management tools.
• Proficient in architecting secure, scalable solutions in hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with MAS Cyber Hygiene, TRM Guidelines, Cybersecurity Act, CCoP, and proficient in NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain preferred.
