Boo is a personality-based social/dating app that allows you to deeply understand anyone and connect with people who intuitively understand you.

The Role

You will be responsible for :

• Looking for top tier mobile app designs in Dribble/ Behance sample works
• Design visually captivating and user-friendly interfaces for our dating/social platform, adhering to the company's brand guidelines and design principles.
• Create advanced animations and micro-interactions using Figma, ensuring seamless integration with UI designs.
• Develop hover states and dynamic components to enhance user interaction and engagement.
• Utilize prototyping features in Figma to create interactive prototypes for user testing and feedback, including animations and transitions.
• Ensure consistency in the visual design across various screens and features of the platform.
• Stay up to date with the latest design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the dating/social space.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and contribute to the continuous improvement of our design processes and standards.

Ideal Profile

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, interaction design, or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years working experience in the same field.
• Proven work experience as a UI designer or a similar role, showcasing a strong portfolio of design projects, preferably in the dating/social or related industries. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, or Figma.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices, with a focus on creating engaging and intuitive user interfaces.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design ideas to stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, ensuring visually appealing designs that enhance user experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A passion for staying informed about the latest design trends, technologies, and industry developments in the dating/social space.
