About the Role
The Rostering Support kapa (team) is a fundamental part of the Human Resource Shared Services (HRSS) whānau (family). They tautoko (support) the largest workforce in the South Island ensuring we pay our kaimahi (staff) accurately, on time, every time. They’re hard-working and dedicated delivering their mahi (work) to high standards putting the kaimahi (staff) at the centre of what they do.

About the Team
Our team is made up of 9 fantastic specialists who are very inclusive, friendly, supportive and celebrate the wins/milestones. As a Roster Officer, you’ll report into the Rostering Support Team Leader.
We are located in the Corporate Office, Christchurch City Centre. The ability to work from home on occasion and have flexibility of hours is also a possibility.
About you
To be successful in this role, you should be comfortable in a complex, diverse and fast-paced work environment. We need someone who’s resilient, driven, works well under pressure and is unphased by delivering to deadlines while achieving a high level of accuracy. This role would suit an energetic problem solver with a keen eye for detail who can adapt their style and focus when the need arises. Drive and determination to deliver excellent customer service is a must.
You’ll be working with complex reports so should have an intermediate knowledge of systems and reporting tools. Being familiar with employment agreements and the various aspects of paying people would be ideal, as well as experience of the health sector or other large 24/7 organisations.
