Service Engineer

Service Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Service Technician required to join a global electrical engineering manufacturer ranked among the top three in the industry.

The successful Service Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Service Technician will work fully remote, covering the Netherlands, responsible for servicing, maintaining, commissioning, and troubleshooting UPS systems and battery energy storage units to ensure reliable operation. Full product training provided.

The Service Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Service Technician will ideally have an electrical background in the Netherlands with VCA, NEN 3140, and Electrical Engineering qualifications. Must have a Dutch driving license, be VOG-eligible, and open to travel.

• €45,000 - €55,000 (depending on experience)

Service Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Service Technician Role

• Service, maintain, and troubleshoot UPS systems, battery storage, and power electronics.
• Install and commission UPS systems at commercial and industrial sites across the Netherlands.
• Perform preventative maintenance on existing UPS installations.
• Diagnose and repair UPS systems, including replacing components and re configuring systems.
• Advise clients on power requirements and recommend UPS solutions.
• Work with different engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Service Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Service Technician Requirements

• Residence in Netherlands
• Electrical background in fault finding, servicing, commissioning or maintenance.
• Possess a VCA diploma
• Hold a NEN 3140 diploma
• Have a VOG or is able to get VOG without any issue.
• Electrical Engineering qualification (degree or equivalent)
• Dutch speaking is essential.
• A Dutch driving license and willingness to travel & stay away when required.
