Function:

As an Operator , you are the key player in our automated metal processing and sorting center. You ensure that our high-tech installations are running optimally and are responsible for the production process. You operate and maintain the sorting installations, monitor material and process quality, and, depending on the production line, manage a small team. In addition, you work with a forklift, keep the work floor clean, and support your colleagues where needed. Safety, the environment, and quality are a top priority for you. With your technical insight, flexible attitude, and team spirit, you contribute to an efficient and sustainable recycling operation. You will be working in a 2-shift schedule.

What do you need:

• Experience as an Operator in a production environment.
• You speak B1-B2 English
• You have a forklift certificate or are willing to obtain one.
• Not afraid to perform operational tasks yourself.
• A Vapro qualification is a plus.

As an Operator, you will be responsible for operating and setting up the sorting installation(s), performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting minor issues. You will monitor and report technical failures or deviations, ensuring an efficient and stable production process. Additionally, you will maintain the cleanliness of the production line, check the quality of materials and processes, and, depending on the production line, coordinate team members. You will promote good teamwork and a safe working environment, move materials and products using a forklift, and actively contribute to improvements in both the process and the workplace.
