Influx Search has again partnered with a pioneering leader in advanced membrane technology for sustainable water treatment. Their mission is to deliver clean, affordable water while minimising environmental impact.


As part of their strategic expansion, we’re looking for a Global Commercial Director – Food & Beverage to lead their commercial growth in this critical sector.


What’s the job?


We’re seeking a commercially driven leader with deep experience in the water treatment or industrial filtration space. You will define and execute the global commercial strategy for the Food & Beverage segment, managing high-performing teams, leading strategic partnerships, and spearheading international growth initiatives.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Shaping and executing the global commercial strategy for the F&B vertical.
  • Managing forecasting, pipeline development and key commercial KPIs.
  • Leading high-value contract negotiations to secure long-term value.
  • Building and developing commercial teams across key international regions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (R&D, Marketing, Product, Ops) to align market and product strategies.
  • Representation at major international exhibitions and events.
  • Providing strategic input to senior leadership and reporting on key commercial metrics.

What do we need from you?


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Process Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 10 years’ experience in water treatment or filtration, ideally in the Food & Beverage space.
  • A track record of driving international sales growth and managing global commercial teams.
  • Strong background in selling high-value technical solutions via agents, OEMs and direct partnerships.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work from HQ in the Netherlands up to 50% of the time.
