MLOps Engineer (m/f/d)

Your mission

At sewts we automate what others can’t. Gripping of deformable materials like textiles is a task most humans see as intuitive and simple. However, this is a complicated task for robots as they lack the detailed and contextual understanding of where and with what level of sensitivity to handle these textiles. As deep-tech enthusiasts, we teach robots human-like perception skills.

We are building a foundational technology stack called sewts.JUPITER. JUPITER uses genAI to simulate realistically the behavior of deformable & soft objects to create corresponding computer vision models and grabbing strategies. Based on our physical AI first time ever robots get enabled to handle soft & deformable materials. With over €10M in funding we will bring automation into all untapped industries, like cloth manufacturing, textiles handling, recycling & e-commerce.

You will be an integral part of our JUPITER Software Team, which is responsible for bringing a highly performant AI platform, specialised on deformable materials, to life. It runs in all our robotic products, which comprises a framework to train AI models, a middleware to run a configurable pipeline including AI models, computer vision algorithms on an edge device, and a user interface for configuration, calibration, and monitoring.

As our new Experienced ML Ops Engineer (m/f/d), you are knowledgeable in designing ML Ops Pipelines, deep learning and computer vision. It is your mission to ensure reliable high-speed model serving, as well as establishing standards for our AI Developers in model packaging, monitoring and serving. As an ML Ops Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure for deploying machine learning models into production.

Here Is How You Will Create An Impact

• You develop software in Python with a focus on deep learning applications in robotic driven computer vision.
• You Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ML workflows.
• You manage model packaging, versioning, testing, and deployment in production environments.
• Monitor model performance, data drift, and reliability of deployed models.
• You perform continuous optimization of our neural networks.
• You take an actively collaborating role with other AI Developers.
• You actively contribute to our Scrum team and work closely with other members in the AI & Simulation Team.
  
  

Your profile

• You have been working in Machine Learning for at least 3 years of which at least one has been in MLOps;
• You have substantial experience in MLOps Tools like W&B and ClearML;
• Experience in Workflows and metrics for computer vision and image-based AI Applications;
• You have extensive programming skills in Python and have already worked with Pytorch;
• Experience with ONNX is a plus;
• You speak fluent English;
• You are communicative, like to share your knowledge to advance the whole team, and always keep the overview even in challenging problems.
