Grenergy Erneuerbare Energien GmbH is the German subsidiary of Grenergy Renovables SA, the listed Spanish company in the field of renewable energies that specializes in the global development, construction and operation of open-space photovoltaic systems and battery storage systems. Grenergy is currently active in 11 countries (including Europe, the USA and South America). In Germany we operate from locations in Berlin and Hanover. With over 600 employees worldwide – 18 of whom are currently in Germany – we at Grenergy have been doing everything we can every day for more than 15 years to ensure sustainable energy production and drive forward the energy transition.

You will work on the following tasks:

• Provision of market-based contract bases for land securing and project planning, taking into account the legal framework
• Creation of a central repository to provide current sample templates, taking into account the needs of the project development team, new market requirements and the current legal situation, with the aim of quickly concluding contracts
• Maintenance and revision of a manual for contract drafting (e.g. contract checklist)
• Legal advice on the establishment of project companies
• Review and negotiation of pre-contractual agreements and project development contracts
• Management of all contractual and real property security and processing of easements through to monitoring the correct entry in the land register
• Legal advice on all necessary matters within the framework of project development in Germany
• Support with all aspects of project development cooperations (e.g. conducting legal due diligence reviews, negotiating and drafting project documents, etc.)
• Coordination and supervision of external law firms and consultants

Requirements:

• Completed university degree in law and a degree as a fully qualified lawyer
• Preferably (but not required) professional experience related to the tasks mentioned above
• Ability to work through and explain complex legal contexts in a comprehensible and understandable manner
• Confident use of common MS Office applications
• Negotiating skills and a confident demeanor
• A high degree of ability to work in a team, quick comprehension and independence as well as structured work
• Good written and oral communication skills, good knowledge of German and English as well as skills in writing reports
