Responsibilities

• Maintain and support our Google Cloud, Google Cloud VMWare, and Kubernetes environment.
• Experience with various Linux Server Open-Source operating systems.
• Experience with VMWare ESXi and VSphere.
• Perform system administration; security, file and directory permissions, Google IAM & Admin duties. 
• Monitor system performance and capacity planning.
• Maintain Windows domains – cloud and on prem.
• Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers.
• Plan for and design network additions, expansions, security of LAN. 
• Work closely with EDI team.
• Provide support for trouble ticket requests and resolve issues.
• Create documentation.
• Serve as an escalation point for the helpdesk team.
• Work directly with software developers to build resources as required.
• Microsoft AX experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux administration and support experience
• Deployment and maintenance of EDR.
• Maintain Windows domain infrastructure.
• Perform system administration; security, file and directory permissions, adding/deleting users, etc.
• Understanding of clustering services, load balancing and highly available systems, Terminal Services, web servers, and web application servers (IIS, Apache, load balancers)
• Monitor system performance and capacity planning.
• Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, and network hardware.
• Good practical and theoretical understanding of networking hardware and protocols including TCP/IP protocols, DNS, DHCP.
• Experience with security certificates.
• Experience with Email, Exchange Online, email relays.
