Overview:
We are seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge and ability to follow precise specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend, form, and shape metal sheets
- Read and interpret drawings to determine the appropriate settings
- Select and install the correct tooling for each job
- Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and measuring tapes
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed for accurate production
- Program machines using computer software for specific bending sequences
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes
- Proficiency in reading blueprints
- Familiarity with operating a crane for material handling is a plus
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for machine setup and maintenance
