We are hiring a experienced Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for an on going Opportunity in beautiful Seattle, WA!
This is a full time opportunity starting as soon as credentialed!
This provider will be joining a team of an additional NP/PA and 2 RN's
Its in an outpatient setting with about 8-10 estimated patients per shift.
This is a Monday - Friday (8a-5p) schedule.
There is no call required for this position.
General Duties and responsibilities
- Provide medical expertise on pain, symptom management, and the evaluation of terminal prognosis to patient ,family members and staff.
- Ensures that the care being provided is based on established hospice and palliative care guidelines and standards- Interacts with attending physicians, as necessary, regarding the care and treatment of patients in the Palliative Care program and works collaboratively regarding potential referrals to Hospice
- Assist in teaching supervision
- Local drive in candidate to the Seattle area with mileage reimbursement - preferred
- Active WA License
- Scheduled clinic hours only
