**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our dental professionals in providing quality oral healthcare to patients.

**Responsibilities:**

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment

- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs

- Take and develop dental X-rays

- Maintain accurate patient records

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices

**Requirements:**

- Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program

- Proficiency in medical documentation and maintaining patient records

- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology

- Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend or similar electronic health record systems

- Experience in dental assisting, including knowledge of aseptic techniques

- Ability to take vital signs and assist in patient assessment

- Proficiency in X-Ray procedures
