The Automotive Technician will perform service and maintenance operations on a wide variety of vehicles including prototype, concept, racing, pace, classic, and present model year. Automotive Technician Responsibilities include: Inspect vehicle condition and mechanical functionality. Perform maintenance and repair operations. Document all maintenance/repair operations. Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical concerns. Mount and balance tires. Assist with loading and unloading of non-running vehicles. Operate a Hi-Lo. Utilize vehicle diagnosis equipment/software. Test-drive and validate repair operations. Meet deadlines. Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service’s DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision. Automotive Technician Qualifications and Skills: A high school diploma/GED. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. A high degree of automotive expertise. Ability to service multiple vehicles at once while waiting for parts/authorization. Respect for vehicles GLS is entrusted to care for. Personal responsibility and ownership of all work performed, quality of work delivered, and GLS reputation. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction. Must have superior attendance, and be prompt and reliable.
