Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Cybersecurity Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate must be a self-learner driven by their passion for technology who aims toward continuous improvement. They will possess a strong enthusiasm for cybersecurity, automation, engineering efficient solutions, and ability to support and enhance security awareness.
The Cybersecurity Engineer will drive technical and process contributions to improve the company's security posture, working with various teams to design, implement, and operate security solutions. They will serve as a subject matter expert across multiple security domains including threat/vulnerability management, application security, security orchestration/automation, and security operations.
Critical Job Functions:
- Provide technical expertise as part of an Information Security Team.
- Perform daily security operations tasks like triage of alerts, vulnerability management, endpoint/email security operations.
- Analyze processes/governance to identify and implement improvements.
- Manage security and access controls of cloud solutions.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for technical escalations.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure Teams to design and build secure technologies.
- Recommend, design, build, and deploy automation tools to streamline security operations.
- Assist with remediation guidance for vulnerability scans and penetration tests.
- Provide monitoring, maintenance, and support for security toolsets to ensure resilience.
- Collaborate with dev teams to advise on application security in the SDLC.
- Act as Tier III escalation point for security requests/incidents.
- Stay informed on industry trends to be proactive.
