THE GROWTH YOU HELP PROVIDE AS A COMMUNITY LIAISON
We have two full-time shifts available: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm; and 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
Your role as a Community Liaison is all about creating fun and enriching experiences. You coordinate various in-house and outdoor activities, ensuring everyone has a great time. Dive into our swimming program and explore community-based activities. You maintain records, coordinate religious services, and lead our fantastic team of recreation aides. Your role is all about bringing joy and enrichment to our community!
OUR IDEAL COMMUNITY LIAISON
We're looking for a compassionate individual who can meet the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or experience working with developmentally disabled individuals in a habilitation/vocational setting
- Ability to pass van driving in-service
- Ability to obtain and maintain Lifeguard and Pool Operator certification
- Ability to obtain and maintain certification as a Special Olympics coach
- Valid drivers license
One year or more of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
