Modern growing general dentistry practice in historic downtown Leesburg in search of an experienced Dental Assistant who enjoys helping others smile. Responsibilities will include fostering a welcoming environment for the patient, facilitating an efficient workflow for the doctor, organizing, sterilizing, maintaining and/or improving clinical support systems as well as light administrative duties when needed. Will consider FT as well as PT. Candidates less qualified based on experience list below are encouraged to apply as well.
General Qualifications:
- Minimum two years experience as a dental assistant
- Excellent and empathetic communicator
- Technology adept
- Strong analytical & organizational skills
- Enthusiastic, collaborative and dependable
- X-ray and CPR certification required
- CDA a plus
Skills/Experience/Responsibilities:
- Ability to capture panoramic, peri-apical and bitewing x-rays
- Digital impression scanning
- Inventory Management
- Familiarity assisting with all general dentistry procedures
- Coronal polishing and fluoride application
- Fabricating temporary restorations
- Taking preliminary alginate impressions
- Charting in practice management system
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment according to established protocols including OSHA & CDC
- Charging treatment, collecting copayments, scheduling appointments and answering patient communications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
