This job implements all of the functions of an ESL teacher including, but not limited to implementing learning plans, differentiated instruction, providing and supervising modifications, benchmarking and progress monitoring, intervention, consulting with other teachers, ELPA assessments, and any other necessary duties of a teacher.
The ideal candidate will possess an active TN teaching license with an endorsement in ESL education. Previous job experience teaching ESL is preferred, but not mandatory. Essential skills including completing ESL plans, working in a PLC with other teachers and administrators, and conducting parent meetings.
