In this role, you will be responsible for participating in designing and executing our executive compensation programs and policies to attract and retain our leadership talent as well as prepare materials for the Compensation Committee. Key Responsibilities: 1. Executive Compensation Strategy: Design and execute executive compensation programs and policies to effectively attract and retain leadership talentLead and drive the delivery of moderate to complex projects in the executive compensation spaceConduct comprehensive executive compensation analysis and reporting2. Compensation Committee Support: Prepare materials for Compensation Committee Meetings, including competitive data and alternative plan design scenariosProvide dynamic scenario modeling using quantitative analysis to solve complex problems3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Develop strategic partnerships with Finance, HR, and Legal teams to understand their strategies and father necessary inputMonitor regulatory changes, proxy trends, and peer executive compensation dataStay informed on legislation affecting pay programs and report on industry trends 4. Leadership and Education: Provide directional leadership for the compensation philosophy within the teamSupport decision-making by offering compensation alternatives and recommendationsEducate and align partners and executives on our compensation programs and industry best practices 5. Global Perspective: Utilize global experience across multiple countries and regionsNavigate complexities inherent in compensation theories and practices within a hyper-growth technology company Please note this is a hybrid role that requires an in-office presence 3 days/ week (Tue-Thur) from our San Mateo headquarters. Qualifications8-10 years of experience in total rewards/ compensationPrior experience in executive compensation management for a public company is a plusExperience creating or building compensation programs at a hyper-growth technology company Experience working with leadership on compensation programsGlobal experience across multiple countries and regionsA foundation in compensation theories and practicesFamiliar with a broad range of executive compensation topics (e.g., stock dilution, performance equity plans)Knowledgeable on legislation affecting pay programsExperience working with finance and legal partners on technical aspects of compensation, benefits plans, and tax and regulatory issues in a variety of countries. Knowledge in SOX and regulatory compliance Experience in interpreting and presenting compensation data, conclusions, and proposals, including to executivesExpert skills with Microsoft Excel and strong knowledge of Google SheetsAdditional InformationCalifornia Pay Range: $200,000 - $265,000 . This range is inclusive of base bonus potential.Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level.
