Responsibilities:
•The Construction Estimator will have the overall responsibility of supporting the Preconstruction Department and assisting on multiple individual projects during the budgeting and subcontract bidding phases of those projects
•The ideal candidate for this role would be able to work under very tight time frames and responsible for handling multiple bids and responsibilities simultaneously
•Review and analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documents to accurately create a budget proposal to the client
•Coordinate with the project team to establish appropriate allowances in the budget for work not completely clear on the bidding documents
•Perform quantity take-offs to review with subcontractors to confirm accurate scope
•Use quantity take-offs and company unit rates to establish budgets for work to be performed by internal tradesman
