The LimbSaw Company is Hiring an Operations Assistant Near Norman, OK

Who We Are:

The LimbSaw Company is a small, growing, family-owned business that manufactures and sells agricultural tool implements. We are looking to hire someone to grow with our company who is looking for long-term employment. We work hard, but operate in a relaxed work environment.

Position Overview:

The Operations Assistant will perform standard and advanced administrative work to support the company under supervision of the Sales and Operation managers. Position requires superior administrative and organizational skills. The position is 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday located at the business in Northeast Norman. This is not a work from home position.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide administrative support to Sales & Operations managers
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, customers, suppliers, and dealers
  • Serve as the primary contact for the Company and route calls as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering company phone and assisting customers with questions and orders; be willing to learn about our products and discuss with customers
  • Maintain Customer Database in HubSpot
  • Process Shopify, Dealer and other orders, You will be solely responsible from receipt of the order through delivery of order. (payment, create shipping labels, tracking of orders to make sure they have been shipped and delivered in timely manner)
  • Maintain Master Parts and Supplier List
  • Maintain Serial Number List for products
  • Maintain Company Calendar
  • Assist with trade show registration, payment, travel arrangements and preparation
  • Update product manuals and company marketing materials
  • Inventory - Keep inventory of parts needed to assemble our products
  • Create Purchase Orders and order parts as needed
  • Follow Up on Purchase Orders with suppliers to assure timely delivery
  • Adjust monthly Purchase Orders as needed
  • Order & maintain office supplies
  • Open, sort and scan any incoming correspondence, invoices, and/or packing slips and deliver to appropriate employee
  • Package products as needed
  • Other tasks as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma/GED
  • 2-3 years of administrative experience
  • Highly proficient skills with latest versions of Microsoft Office
  • Highly proficient skills with Google Docs
  • Must possess interpersonal skills

Position Criteria:

  • Must possess good written/oral communication skills
  • Ability to relay information promptly and accurately
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks
  • Good organizational skills, including filing, scanning and calendaring, email management
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions
  • Pleasant and clearly understandable phone voice
  • Problem solver
  • Team Player

  • Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface as well as safely bend, stoop, reach, climb steps and use ladder.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
  • Vision abilities required: close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Vision to accurately read all related distribution documents and computer monitor screens.
