Pay Plan
This opportunity is non-exempt and on Pay Grade #8. The full Pay Grade Range is shown for growth and development opportunities within the grade. Salary determination is supported by budget availability and qualifications of the candidate to maintain internal equity.
Hiring Range: $21.42-$23.00
Min $21.42 ($44,559.01)
Mid $26.24 ($54,568.80)
Max $31.06 ($64,600.64)
Experience
High School Diploma/GED.
3 Years of progressive administrative experience.
Money handling experience.
Experience writing professional emails, memos, and reports.
Experience with Tyler Enterprise Permitting & Licensing (EnerGov) is preferred.
Texas Notary Public, or the ability to obtain within 12 months post-hire.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools.
Strong Emotional Maturity and the ability to effectively work in a high-stress environment.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
Communication and relationship-building skills (different styles and methods).
Ability to work independently, with little assistance, and as a collaborative team.
Ability to hold composure in stressful situations, and appropriately apply horsepower and permission.
Ability to develop strong working relationships and knowledge of operations, related to terminology, policy, practice, and procedure. Including an understanding of the City of Coppell Community Developmental divisions, and how they serve the community.
