We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Full-Time Remote Inside Sales Specialist to join our team, revolutionizing the intersection where wildlife and humanity meet.
The Inside Sales Specialist is a highly relational role that relies on a candidate's ability to build and maintain relationships. They will be responsible for identifying and qualifying customer relationships and opportunities for the Business Development team, supporting the Business Development team with prospect and industry research, and being the first point of contact for inbound customer calls as well as follow-up to ensure satisfaction at the end of the job.
Serve as Meridian’s brand ambassador on the phone: Provide a positive first impression, whether calling a prospective customer, or answering an inbound call inquiring about our services, and making sure that it’s handled with empathy and expertise.
Identify New Opportunities: Your keen eye will spot untapped markets and potential collaborations within the US. As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for initial outreach to prospective & existing markets.
Business Development Team Engagement: You are the point of contact for making sure that the Business Development Team has the collateral and intelligence they need to develop relationships with prospective and existing customers, and you represent those needs to the other departments in the company that provide them – primarily, Marketing, Analytics and Customer Success.
Strategic Planning: Stay up to date with our industry (integrated pest management) and our customers’ industries, conduct market research, analyze competitor activities, and gather insights to shape business strategies and capitalize on new opportunities.
Customer Follow-through: Work with our systems (Salesforce) and departments to make sure that the customer gets what they need up to entry of the work order and ensure their satisfaction after work orders are completed. This work includes systematic tracking and reporting of Customer Satisfaction internally and in partnership with our third-party partners.
