Schedule: Onsite 3 days and remote 2 days (Tuesdays and Fridays), shift is flexible to start between 7am-9am.
Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented data analyst to join our team. As a data analyst, you will play a crucial role in extracting, cleaning, and organizing data from SAP and Excel. In addition, you will be responsible for conducting various analytical tasks using Excel, ranging from creating pivot tables to writing macros and creating meaningful visualizations. In this position, attention to detail is paramount. You will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy and integrity, as well as identifying any discrepancies or anomalies. A keen eye for detail will allow you to spot irregularities and provide solutions to rectify them.
Responsibilities:
  • Effective communication skills are highly valued in this role.
  • As a data analyst, you will be working closely with cross-functional teams, collaborating with various stakeholders, and presenting your findings to the team.
  • The ability to clearly and concisely convey complex information is crucial to ensure proper understanding and implementation of your insights.
  • Correspond with Sales, Credit and Operations team on any pricing discrepancies and aging.
  • Heavy account research to identify account issues, customer disputes and other account variances including short pays.
  • Contribute and provide weekly and monthly customer aging analytical reporting to AR Manager on identified A/R issues related to past due account balances, POD, billing issues and customer delivery disputes.
  • Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Have extensive experience in handling large datasets and possess a strong proficiency in analyzing data in SAP and Excel.
  • You must be comfortable working with numbers, as you will be tasked with identifying patterns and trends within the data.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as you will be expected to provide insightful recommendations based on your findings.
  • Outstanding organization, time management and prioritization skills
  • Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results.
  • General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process, and information flow.
  • Auditing and analytical skills
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
1-3 years of experience as a financial or business analyst.
Experience in SAP, and other data analysis programs.
Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports.
Advance use Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, macros, graphs and charts.
Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years of accounts receivables experience
