Responsibilities/Qualifications

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Merchandising Co-Ops to support Assistant Buyer activities including key projects and department maintenance. In this role, you will work up to 30 hours/week and have the option to work remotely. 

The Merchandising Co-Op key responsibilities include:

• Assisting the category manager in setting up new items for the season/ categories.
• Supporting the category manager in planogram and maintenance change process.
• Preparing documents for line reviews and category planogram meetings.
• Managing set up of new vendors in the chain for traditional categories and special projects.
• Working directly with vendors to retrieve samples and detail.
• Working closely with the field team on store issues via our internal store operations center.
• Maintaining documents for monthly ads.
• Ensuring content and items are on the website.
• Handling sample management.

PAWsome Merchandising Co-Op candidates will have:

• Enrolled in a degree program or recently graduated with bachelor's degree in related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Key knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Power-Point, Teams.
• Excellent business and financial acumen.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think and act on results with a solution-orientated mindset.
