The Modern Sewist Quilt Shop & BERNINA Studio is hiring an Assistant to the Manager. We are looking for a competent sewist with retail experience who can provide excellent customer service and support our sewing community.
In this full-time position, you will report directly to the Store Manager and support them by assisting with purchasing, receiving, scheduling, class coordination, BERNINA Education and day-to-day operations. While it is not a requirement to know (or sew) on a BERNINA, it is vital that the candiate be willing and enthusiastic about learning this integral part of The Modern Sewist's business.
Expected Hours: Tuesday-Saturday from 9:30-5:00 and some weekend events during the year
