The Coos County DA's Office has two openings for Deputy District Attorney at either the DDA I or DDA II level, DOE. We also have a DDA position open for an experienced attorney to lead our unique Justice Reinvestment Act Program. This program was the first in the state to imbed a prosecutor with our local Community Corrections program to work hand in hand with Probation/Parole Officers. For the right applicant, the DDA I opening may be contingent on successful completion of the Oregon State Bar Exam.
County pays 98% of health care benefits, and provides 6% towards Public Employee Retirement System. Up to $5,000 Relocation Costs provided, which can also be used towards rent costs.

Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Membership in the Oregon State Bar, eligible for reciprocity admission or awaiting bar exam results. Must pass a background check including CJIS certification.
