Sr. Sales Engineer Owen Oil ToolsJOB SUMMARYSr. Sales Engineer introducesdownhole completion tools and perforating products into regional markets bystrategically developing and maintaining relationships with energy sector operatorsand service providers. This role defines long-term strategic goals; identifies,negotiates, and closes business opportunities, while maintaining extensiveknowledge of current market conditions. Primary focus will be the US Unconventionalmarket, with up to 50% travel. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESDevelops and implements strategic business plan to achieve growth from existing and new markets for unconventional well completion business including sales targets, product mix, new product introductions, pricing and required marketing content.Participates in management meetings and takes responsibility for sales improvement and marketing support initiatives.Educate Operating companies about the products and services within our business unit.Prepares and maintains monthly reports and presentations to track performance and update senior management on sales progress.Works in conjunction with Product Line Managers to maximize sales procedures, flow efficiency, product enhancement, new product development interpret the data and make recommendations on improving productivity and wellsite performance.Represents Core Lab - Owen Oil Tools at industry related organizations and eventsEnhances global revenue, profit, and market share with major accounts, through both existing and new business initiatives, with proactive focus on value-added products and/or services.Prepares sales quotations and agreements using ERP and/or CRM Software.Negotiates a mutually satisfactory resolution to client invoicing inquiries.Monitors and supports sales regions with current market status and/or changes with new technologies.Responsible for Account Management.Support New Product Commercialization Process.Writes case studies and write papers based on field results.Maintains close contact and good relationships with energy sector operators and service providers to ensure proper information and data exchange is accomplished.Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by implementing, maintaining, and aligning company policies that adhere to local, state, and federal environmental, health and safety regulations.Communicates with all levels of the organization to promote positive relationships and coordination of duties, policies, and procedures.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Business or Engineering, related experience or combination of education and experience.Minimum 7 years of experience working in sales, Completion and/or Production field operations, customer service in support of a manufacturing environment, preferably downhole tools, conventional and unconventional well completions and decommissioning.A proven track record of sales growth and a wealth of industry contacts within the operating region.ABILITIES, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEIntermediate to Advanced computer skills (MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook & Power Point)ERP & CRM Software and industry simulation software (CTES) preferred.Ability to interact effectively with clients and personnel to provide information and technical support.Strong planning, organizational, analytical and communication skills.Bid package preparation in response to tendersTravel up to 50% required.LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpretdocuments such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, andprocedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
