Job Summary
We are looking for a talented, professional, and driven individual for our Treasury Relationship Manager position in Overland Park, KS!
The Treasury Relationship Manager's primary focus will be the acquisition of new business as well as management of an existing portfolio of customers. The Treasury Relationship Manager role acts as a concierge for all client needs and is well-versed with access to varying product suites such as: Treasury Services and Commercial Lending. The Treasury Relationship Manager will engage product partners for lending needs, however, will maintain the one point of contact approach throughout the lending process. The Treasury Relationship Manager must consistently network in the community, cultivate centers of influence, work with existing customers and partners to expand relationships, and conduct direct prospecting to the desired market segment. The Treasury Relationship Manager will partner cross-functionally for new opportunity as client needs dictate.
60% of the Treasury Relationship Manager's time will be spent:
  • Developing a pipeline of prospects in the desired market segment
    • Conducting pricing comparisons and drafting/presenting proposals
    • Conducting product demonstrations
    • Leading discovery conversation with prospects and clients, seeking referral opportunities across departments
    • Participating in community and professional activities to enhance the bank image and expand personal referral network
40% of the Treasury Relationship Manager's time will be spent:
  • Creating and executing a customer maintenance program
  • Partnering cross-functionally with Relationship Managers from Construction, Commercial, Wealth Management, and Healthcare Banking to identify opportunity in existing portfolio and client base
    • Conducting pricing comparisons and drafting/presenting proposals
    • Conducting product demonstrations
  • Manage overall relationship profitability and ensure profitable development and management of the portfolio assigned
Qualifications
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years banking experience required
  • 5 years sales/business development experience preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in Treasury Services and Commercial Banking with a desire to take on a new segment
Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and communication skills
  • Professional polish and the ability to deliver client experience with poise and responsiveness
  • Ability to prospect and network at various levels within a company
  • Ability to travel within the Kansas City metro; valid driver's license
  • Strong knowledge of market and industry trends
  • Excellent time management skills to balance business development and portfolio management to ensure goals are met
  • Alignment with Core Bank values and purpose
  • Change champion willing to challenge the status quo and excite others in the process
  • Professional courtesy and willingness to work as a team
  • Strong understanding of revenue cycle management and solving the problems various businesses face
