Title: Network Analyst – ONSITE in Reading, PA (Subcontract at Core BTS Client)

Job Description Summary: Our Client is seeking a Network Analyst to assist in maintaining our Local and Wide Area Network, as well as Wireless environments.

Primary Duties:

• Assist as part of the Corporate Network and local IT teams.
• Help in supporting network infrastructure.
• Basic understanding and assistance in managing LAN/WAN Network, including technologies like CISCO Wireless, Telephony, and entry-level network equipment.
• Assist in supporting connectivity to services like MS-Azure, AWS, and other hosting services.
• Participate in off-hours support and basic project work as required.
• Use industry standard tools to help resolve basic network and security issues.
• Aid in the research, evaluation, and basic maintenance of technology solutions (hardware and software) for the corporate infrastructure.
• Provide support in the delivery and ongoing maintenance of products/services, applications, network systems, and solutions.
• Work under guidance to address infrastructure issues, using basic technical knowledge.
• Assist in system upgrades, workstation setups, and server configurations under supervision.
• Help maintain software and hardware inventories.
• Engage with various software tools, languages, and technology platforms under guidance.
• Level of responsibility and supervision corresponds to entry-level experience.
• Undertake other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field. Preferably 1-2 years of Information Technology experience in basic research, development, installation, and maintenance of hardware/software technology solutions.
• Basic knowledge of infrastructure technologies including storage hardware and software, network hardware, software, and cabling. Familiarity with network services (voice and data), PC and server hardware, and operating systems.
• Basic knowledge in managing phone registrations, user assignments, TCP/IP address registrations, and VLAN segmentations.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate certificate or equivalent foundational experience is a plus.
• Ability to work with guidance to address standard situations.
• Organizational and prioritization skills required, along with basic verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced and changing work environment.
