We are looking for an experienced and personable Technology Specialist to join our Information Technology Team. The Technology Specialistwill be responsible for maintaining and managing technology-related items throughout the organization. The key responsibilities of the Technology Specialist positionwill include providing technical assistance to employees, installing and configuring equipment, and performing regular maintenance tasks. The Technology Specialist'stechnical expertise and knowledge will play an important role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our institution's hardware and software systems.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists Network Manager in the maintenance of the Microsoft Server network. Performs basic user maintenance and upgrades client software as necessary.
  • Works with third-party providers in managing end user workstations, printers, and ancillary devices. Repairs or requests repair services for all bank equipment and PC hardware as approved by the Network Manager.
  • Provides employees with outstanding support and service answering phone calls, emails and direct questions from end-users related to hardware and software issues. Records issues and their timely resolution in the ticketing database.
  • Assists in loading various software applications including but not limited to Microsoft software and other bank specific applications. Sets up new PCs purchased for bank personnel and install them in their final location.
  • Assists in tracking the Bank’s inventory of computer hardware and software applications. Updates and produces various reports related to current inventory.
  • Purchases equipment, computer hardware and software as directed by the Vice President – IT or Network Manager.
  • Produces daily/monthly IT related reports as requested. Performs daily/monthly systems and security report reviews and escalates identified issues and unusual activity to IT Management
  • Assists in installation and maintenance projects as assigned by the Network Manager.
  • Foster and maintain a good working relationship with other departments to meet customer/employee needs.
  • Required to work Saturday’s on a rotating schedule.
  • Represent the Bank at local community events and business organizations in support of the Bank’s outreach efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred; otherwise, must have a combination of applicable education and prior banking or financial services experience.
  • Proficiency in Desktop systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and bank-specific related applications.
  • Strong analytical and research abilities.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
