Position Overview

· Drive a concrete mixer truck and deliver concrete to job sites by performing the following duties.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

· Inspect the truck as required at the start of each workday, completing the Driver Check-off Sheet which indicates that all systems are functioning properly.

· Drive truck to location for unloading in a safe manner

· Climb a ladder, approximately 10-12 feet, on the mixer truck multiple times a day.

· Follow written and verbal instructions to include city street maps and has the ability to complete necessary paperwork.

· Assemble concrete chutes weighing up to 50 pounds each.

· Clean truck after loading and after delivery to prevent concrete from hardening in mixer and on truck.

· Spray surfaces of truck with acid compound to clean truck and drum in accordance with company standards.

· Must be punctual and show up for assigned shifts.

Requirements:

· Class A or B Commercial Drivers License (CDL)

· Manual Transmission Experience and no restriction preferred. Our Fleet is a mix of manual and automatic trucks.

· Clean Driving Record is a MUST

· At least 1-year CDL Driving experience

· 1 year Ready Mix experience preferred; however we will train the right candidate!

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
